What is the Bare Bikini?

The Bare Bikini is like a Brazilian but smoother and safer because we use sugar and not wax to remove all pubic hair and buttcrack in its natural direction.
How do I prepare for my sugaring appointment?

Preparing for your appointment is easy. Arrive with clean skin free of lotions, deodorants, and oils(Freshen Up). We want nothing to interfere with your goal of diminishing hair growth and having smooth, healthy skin. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Women should bring a clean pair of white cotton underwear to put on after a bikini treatment. Men should bring a clean white cotton shirt to put on after a back and/or chest treatment.

Please Remember: Never use a razor, depilatory creams, or tweezers between your treatments... NO caffeine and alcohol intake and NO exercise prior or after treatment.
Is Sugaring Great For Teens?

Yes, sugaring is absolutely great and safe for teens. Actually there are advantages to starting the sugaring process at a young age. Removing the hair from the follicle while in a developmental stage leads to less regrowth of hair when done frequently.
What if I have my period or I am due the day of my appointment?

Please try to avoid timing your appointments with your cycle, as you may be more sensitive at this time. Please see Appointment Policies.
Is your sugar paste hygienic?

We start with fresh, individual balls of all natural sugar paste consisting of sugar, lemon juice, and water. Bacteria does not breed in high concentrates of sugar, making sugar paste a hygienic choice. Our sugaring specialists never reuse sugar paste, and they always wear gloves. We discard sugar paste after each use. No double dipping ever - ever happens.
What is the difference between the Bikini, Extended Bikini, and Bare Bikini?

Is sugaring painful?

Everybody experiences pain differently, but we're confident that you'll find sugaring to be a much more pleasant experience than other forms of hair removal. You may feel some discomfort. You could find it relatively relaxing thanks to all of the pampering that we do and our 6 Steps to Defining Your Distinctive Beauty process. Many of our clients have said that not only is sugaring less painful than the other hair removal methods they have experienced, they will never go back to those other methods.

Note:If you have a hangover or drink lots of caffeine, you may experience increased sensitivity. Ladies, if your period is due, it will hurt a little more than usual. Whatever the case, we make sure to pull the skin tight during the process to minimize discomfort.
Should I take a pain medication before the treatment?

If you tend to be sensitive to pain, taking a pain medication 30 minutes prior to your appointment can help ease any discomfort you may feel.

How long does sugaring last?

Initial sugaring treatments typically last from three to six weeks depending on the individual's hair re-growth rate. In most cases, hair growth is minimal during the first week or two and noticeably increases in the third and fourth week. Heat stimulates hair growth; therefore hair grows faster in the summer than in the winter. With regular sugaring, hair becomes finer and the re-growth rate slows.
When should I avoid sugaring?

Sugaring should be avoided in areas that are being treated with any topical retinoid product such as Retin-A, Differin, Tazorac, or over the counter Retinol. Ladies, please check your labels. Those who take Accutane, which is an oral retinoid, should avoid sugaring while on the medication and for six months after taking their last pill.

As with any treatment, check with your doctor to find out if sugaring is right for you. If you have experienced a recent sunburn or skin rash, you should postpone sugaring until your skin has healed to avoid unnecessary irritation.
I’ve been sugared, now what?

We want you to enjoy your smooth, hairless skin. However, to ensure your comfort immediately after sugaring, we recommend avoiding the following:
  • Tight clothing
  • Direct sunlight
  • Tanning beds
  • Heat (such as baths/hot tubs/steam rooms/saunas)
  • Perfumes and scented products such as creams, lotions, and soap
  • Deodorant (if you had your underarms sugared)
  • Perspiration – Let this be your excuse to skip going to the gym!
Finally, although we know it's tempting, avoid touching your freshly sugared area. If you must touch, make sure your hands are clean.
